Hey Dolls,
When we think of chakra work, spiritual living and just being connected with the universe in general, we think bohemian chic. But I am here to tell you Dolls, there is more than hemp pants, CBD socks and tye-die shirts. Although, we do enjoy a good CBD infused sock! So, we are going to discuss ways to balance, embrace and acknowledge our chakras while still being fashionable.
Crown Chakra
The Crown Chakra is the highest Chakra and represents our ability to fully connect spiritually. It is at the top of our head. This Chakra creates a balanced feeling of being one with the Universe, to have an open-mind, and to be thoughtful and understanding. The color Violet is associated with this Chakra. Wearing the color violet can promote wisdom, trust, and the ability to let go of any destructive emotions.
I suggest wearing cute little purple or violet barrettes or a violet headband to remind us of this chakra. A strategically placed scrunchie can go long way in helping us to to keep an open-mind and remind of the importance of being thoughtful.
THIRD EYE
The Third-eye Chakra, located between the eyebrows, is associated with self-knowledge, wisdom, intellect, and visualization. This Chakra is known to give you the ability to focus and see the bigger picture while expanding your imagination. The third-eye is associated with the color Indigo.
Rocking some indigo eyeshadow is a cool way to remind yourself to stay focused and trust your decisions and knowledge.
THROAT
Blue is the color associated with the throat chakra. It represents our ability to communicate and express both our feelings and the truth, as well as to refrain from over talking or over sharing. This Chakra allows you to take responsibility for your actions.
If you want to be reminded to share your truth or shut your mouth a cute blue choker or some necklaces wielding this tranquil shade should do the trick.
HEART
The heart Chakra connects with our ability to love and to find joy and inner peace. This Chakra deals with forgiveness and unconditional love, as well as issues with the soul. Surprisingly, green is the color associated with this Chakra not red.
If your seeking to connect with this chakra try wearing a green bra or shirt. Or you can sneak a green tank under your outfit. This will be the perfect reminder of joy and inner peace.
SOLAR PLEXUS
The Naval Chakra connects with our ability to be confident and in control of our lives while focusing on self-worth, self-confidence, and self-esteem. This Chakra is located at our upper abdomen. Yellow is the color associated with this Chakra.
Bralettes rest right on our naval Chakra they can be a comfy sassy way to be reminded to be confident. Also a longer necklace with a strategically placed pendant can be very pretty.
SACRAL
The Sacral Chakra connects our ability to connect to others and new experiences. Located right under the naval in our lower abdomen; this chakra controls the sense of abundance, well-being, pleasure, and sexuality. Orange is the color of this chakra.
If you want to embrace or focus on this chakra through fashion, waistbeads and belts are a great way to do so. A faux dermal piercing can be really cute too.
ROOT
The last of the Chakras is the Root Chakra. This one rounds out all the Chakras by representing our foundation and the sense of feeling grounded. Located at the base of the spine, the Root Chakra deals with our physical identity, ambition, and self-sufficiency while giving us stillness and strength. The color red is linked to this Chakra. This is normally seen as the pleasure and sex chakra but it's so much more.
If you need to feel grounded or be reminded of your sensuality red panties can be a great call. Although the feet aren't the location of this chakra, the feet are our foundation. So, even wearing your favorite red stilettos or sneakers can be a good idea.
I'll be the first to say that I believed there was no room for holistic healing in fashion, but I stand corrected. Nothing is better than feeding your eyes and soul with beautiful fashion. We want to know Dolls, do you live a holistic life? Does it have a place in fashion? Do you have any tips or tricks you'd like to share?
