Seven Super Fun Valentine's Day Date Ideas

Hey Dolls,

Valentines Day is about 30 days away. That gives us a short amount of time to find the perfect outfit, shoes, make-up and hair. But before we can do any of this, we need to know the vibe so we can dress accordingly. With that in mind, I've come up with 10 date-night ideas.

GLAM A$$ NETFLIX & CHILL

I am sure we have had our fill of Netflix & Chill this season with the myriad of constantly changing Covid-19 restrictions. Yes, we have a vaccine but we have a bit longer before we can get out completely. If you're looking to stay Covid compliant and get cozy, this is a lovely idea. First up, scrap the living room. If weather permits, let's take this outdoors. If outdoors isn't an option, opt for a cozy room in your house with a good amount of wall space. Next, you'll need a projector and some really romantic décor. Think rose petals, flowers, balloons, chocolates, or desserts. Finally, you'll need some classic movie theater fare. But don't be basic about it. Shoot for Valentine's inspired options like pink popcorn and heart-shaped gummy bears. Choose your fave show or a Netflix original and binge until your heart's content!

SPA DAY

This can happen at a spa or in your home if that's more comfortable. If you're doing it at home you'll need to book 2 massage therapist. They'll bring the tables and oils. You'll need to do the rest of the work. First up, spa water and snacks will need to be prepared. Himalayan salt is a Valentine's day must. IT'S PINK! A perk of doing it at home is, instead of oat bars and granola we can have cute cupcakes and cookies. Next, you'll need some music you can keep it classic and stream some spa music or curate a special playlist with significant songs for Bae. Finally, you'll need wardrobe, some sexy silk robes or plush cotton robes are perfect for this occasion. Sit back, relax and enjoy the day!

Karaoke

What's more romantic than a private serenade? Whether your vocals are Mariah Carey or Scary, this is a fun Valentine's Day vibe. Bring out the wine and the karaoke machine and exchange mic moments until your voice is gone or the neighbors call the cops 😭. Don't forget the décor or the snacks.

Spirit Tasting

Not that we need an occasion to get sippy, but honestly, this is the perfect opportunity to indulge. If you want to have a spirit tasting for Valentine's Day, you'll need to do a few things. First, choose a spirit. Will you be drinking wine, tequila, vodka, whiskey, bourbon, cognac, gin or champagne? Next, you'll need drinkware and markers. It's always a good rule of thumb to shoot for some customized drinkware. Finally, you'll need water and drink cards

to identify your drink options. I suggest making this an adventure and selecting a spirit you don't normally drink, but keep your fave on hand as a back up.

Sexy Game Night

Valentine's Day is the day to play all the sexy games. So hop in the car with your significant other and head to the nearest adult store. Buy any games that piques your interest and spend the evening playing edgy adult games. If you want to keep the cost down, there are several adult game apps and websites that are low-cost or free. Keep the vibe equally as sexy: ditch the pink and roll with black and red vibes for the night. We're serving 50 Shades, not The Notebook.

Tapas Crawl

If you're willing and able to go out, then a tapas crawl is the way to go. Pick a theme, a few restaurants or bars and create a scoring system. Spend the evening tasting all the things in the world's smallest portions and at the end, the highest scoring tapas wins a future full-on date night!

Scavenger Hunt

We've been scavenger hunting for as long as we can remember (shout out to the Easter Bunny). So, we got this Dolls! The scavenger hunt can take you anywhere you'd like. It can be sexy, funny, quirky or adventurous. Take your pick. So, whether you decide to keep it within the confines of your bedroom or run loose across the globe, it'll be a time. Feel free to download a hunt online if you don't want to create one from scratch.
